The Greater American Leadership creates and supports initiatives fulfilled through Social, Educational, Economic, and Cultural programs that maximize individual and community potential.

Systemic Inequality exists through educational, social, political, economic, and cultural discrepancies instilled by institutional disruption. The result is a climate absent of explicit Inequality but still retains a means to enforce it.

​

Through program design and community implementation, we strive to reduce the negative ramifications of misinformation and miss-guidance oppression that have consistently spread throughout our community. Through Social, Emotional, Economic, and Cultural initiatives that facilitate positive and meaningful relationships, The Greater American Leadership seeks to propel:

  • Education Reform Programs and Advocacy- Workshops that showcase interdisciplinary educational growth. Educational Gap analysis and we provide community opportunities for meaningful engagement.

  • Criminal Justice Reform Programs and Advocacy-  Workshops from lived experiences- the perspective from children of incarceration, formally incarcerated, and law enforcement. We promote reentry best practices and work with the community to humanize the process of workforce development. Criminal Justice includes Immigration Reform initiatives, services, and programs- Justice for:"All of Us"

  • Cultural Competency Programs and Advocacy- Workshops from multicultural leaders, speaking and sharing best practices about culture, music, food, uniqueness, acculturation, education, and challenges of adaptation. Cultural identity and reconciliation of no frontiers concept.  

  • Empowerment Programs and Advocacy- The Female Support Project has pioneer leadership amongst females from a wide range of backgrounds. 

  • Equity Programs and Advocacy- Gender Equity and racial equity workshops aimed to educate and integrate leaders with grassroots organizations doing the work on the frontlines. We fortify relationships with community partners to enhance and promote their hard work!

  • Diversity & Inclusion Programs and Advocacy- We are proud of being all-inclusive, embracive, and supportive. Workshops, retreat programs, and training efforts to alleviate the pain and suffering of those enduring discrimination, acculturation, and lack of social-emotional integration. We believe in a healthier and wealthier community by being diverse and open to everyone's uniqueness.

HOW WE DO IT?

​

  • Female Support Project: We empower females nominated by peers and bring awareness of the shared responsibility to generate support while fighting again gender equity.

  • Harm Reduction- We offer training, workshops, outreach opportunities, and health fairs that aim to prevent and reduce the harm caused by co-occurring disorders as well as addiction. 

  • Immigration Advocacy Network- I.A.N works to provide a membership to status seekers to receive affordable and fair legal advice and representation. We provide status seekers with "Know your Rights" workshops, and supportive resources to acclimate in the community.

  • Wisdom Program: generational connection, space design, activities curriculum, and workshops that promote the cross-generational connection between our "wiser" age and our young professionals.

  • Disaster Relief and Emergency Mental Health: GAL teams up with organizations like World Care Center to provide affordable or at-no-cost training in disaster relief operations as well as emotional resilience and cultural sensitivity workshops that better equipt communities for the ever-changing environment, weather, and social transformations
